Marine History for Kids and Adults
We spent 3 hours Here immersed in all things marine in this museum that is not for anyone with fear of heights. The bid ship on the first floor is surrounded on second floor by open exhibits. Here the history of ice sailing, ice boating, military naval defense. Having real people relate stories in videos in Estonian and sign language in Estonian or English give a personal touch to the evolution of ice sports and to the use if boats to save victims and refugesWe learned about Estonia heroes and Navigators for all over the world. The i formatio on Estonias struggles for independence over many years , mostly involving marine action. We travelled thru a real submarine, and drive an airplane, and power a small boat. Opportunities to listen to narratives on Estonian or English added to the eventSeveral kids activities including a movie for adults and kids. Movie is in Estonian, Estonian sign language with subtiles including Estonian and English Accessible entry and movement thru museum except for original submarine descent.
